ISO 22000 is an international standard auditable by certification bodies, establishing the requirements for a food safety management system. The requirements of this standard are generic and can be applied to any part of the food production chain. This standard is applicable to companies that produce or to companies that operate, indirectly, in the manufacture of food. In short, the standard aims to guarantee safety in the food chain.
With implementation and consequently certification, companies can demonstrate their ability to provide food safety, in order to ensure that it is safe, until the moment of human consumption. For this, there is nothing better than ISO 22000.
